"But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."
1 John 3:17-18

What is Poverty?

Poverty is the general scarcity or the state of one who lacks a certain amount of material possessions or money.

Absolute poverty or destitution refers to the lack of means necessary to meet basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter.

Relative poverty occurs when people in an area or region do not enjoy a certain minimum level of living standards as compared to the rest of the population and so would vary from region to region.

Because of our commitment to the Great Commission and the Greatest Commandment, 3G Ministries exists to positively change lives for Christ and to help people impacted by poverty - physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Is God Calling You to Serve?
The Great Commission

"Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16-20)

This passage gives Jesus’ final and most important charge to His followers. His command is as real to us as it was to the disciples. As they stood watching Jesus ascend to His place in Heaven, they were left with the most crucial task in all of human history. We who await His return must follow the command.
